Cloudsoft launch brand new industry podcast

We are delighted to announce the launch of our brand new podcast Cloudy With a Chance of Brain, in which we talk to industry-leading experts about all things cloud.

It may be a bit of trope that ‘everyone has a podcast now’, and there are plenty of podcasts out there about cloud (Screaming in the Cloud by Corey Quinn being a personal favourite). However, there aren’t many podcasts which bridge the gap between the technical aspects of cloud and the ways that cloud can benefit the organisations who are adopting it. Launching our own podcast means we can fill that gap with valuable conversations that speak to a wider audience - technical folk and non-technical folk alike - and bring the conversation about cloud back down to earth.

Who’s on it?

One of the, slightly more selfish, reasons we wanted to start our own podcast is that it’s a great excuse to talk to interesting people in lots of different industries who we might not otherwise get a chance to talk to!

We’re launching with 3 episodes, which provides a great sampling menu of what’s to come.

Episode 1 - Cloudy With a Chance of...Human Centric Innovation, featuring David Cairns, Head of Innovation at Fujitsu

Episode 2 - Cloudy With a Chance of...Understanding Cloud Costs, featuring Ashley Hromatko, Senior FinOps Manager at Pearson.

Episode 3 - Cloudy With a Chance of...Going Serverless, featuring Yan Cui (aka The Burning Monk), AWS Service Hero.

Who’s coming up?

Future episodes already lined up include how cloud helped Edinburgh Airport weather some of the turbulence of the pandemic, and how to tame some of the complexity of cloud with Kylie Fowler of ITAM Intelligence.

Episodes 4 and 5 will be released in August - make sure you subscribe to get notified when they’re available!
