We are looking for experienced ServiceNow + TypeScript developers. You will work on the development of dedicated products using ServiceNow for application and cloud management, working closely with other Cloudsoft engineers and customers. You will have an opportunity to take a leadership role in these projects including meeting with Fortune 500 users. The successful candidates will have a strong background in ServiceNow scoped app development, a mix of programming languages and systems and a passion for learning technologies and solving customer problems. They will be part of a small, high calibre team in a cutting-edge sector — cloud applications — in one of the most exciting tech companies in city-centre Edinburgh.
Remote and part-time working will be considered.
What we are looking for
Expertise in several of the following areas is highly desirable:
- ServiceNow development expertise
- Cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google, Terraform, VMware)
- Cloud-native architectures (serverless, Kubernetes, messaging patterns)
- Data stores and full-stack (SQL, Cassandra, CouchDB, ORM)
- Old-school server admin (bash, powershell, Ansible, Chef)
- Continuous delivery, testing, monitoring and automation
- Open-source (Apache, GitHub, pull request reviews)
