Apache Brooklyn is the foundation of AMP. It was open sourced by Cloudsoft in 2012, contributed to the Apache Software foundation in May 2014 and graduated as a top level project in November 2015.

This ensures that applications are portable, freeing the business to pursue a multi-cloud, multi-vendor strategy, and avoid the risk of vendor lock-in.
The Cloudsoft Container Service is a set of tools designed to make deployment and management of Docker Swarms and Kubernetes clusters robust, simple, and automated. Blueprints can then be deployed into the container platforms as if it were any other cloud location.
