From Castle Terrace, to Castle views

Today we reached another milestone in our growth journey as we said goodbye to our friends at CodeBase and took up residence in a brand new office on Edinburgh's Prince's Street!

We have been at CodeBase for over 7 years, and it’s a strange time to say goodbye when we haven’t been in the office much for over a year. It’s also of course bittersweet as we look forward to a great new space for our growing team but will miss our friendly home of many years.

On behalf of Cloudsoft, I want to really thank Jamie and the CodeBase team for looking after us during our tenure, and even at TechCube before!

The move to 7 Castle Street enables us to provide a bigger base for our growing team, and with enviable views like this (clouds included, at times, of course) I expect everyone will be especially keen to return to the office!

Moving offices during a pandemic is an especially tricky task, so I also want to extend huge thanks to our Head of Operations Ludo Farine for finding our new location, coordinating the move and making sure the coffee machine is ready to go for our arrival. 

We will of course be following Scottish Government guidelines on returning to the office, so it will be a while before the whole team will be together. I look forward to that day, when we can come together to celebrate all we've achieved, properly welcome our newest team members and officially declare the new office open for business!
