One of the benefits of a small, but growing, scale-up is that everyone has an opportunity to contribute and we are proud to foster a culture where everyone’s opinions are valued and employees are trusted to do their work well.

94% said that “management trusts people to do a good job without watching over their shoulders”. 

Our monthly Company Updates are an opportunity for the whole company to come together and reflect on the previous month, keep up to date with successes in other teams and find out what’s coming up for the whole company. This is run online, so colleagues can join remotely and it’s recorded so everyone can catch-up. 

Team socials 🥳

The social highlight of the year so far was climbing Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest mountain. At 1345m (4,413ft) it was no mean feat, but with teamwork and camaraderie everyone made it to the summit and back again!

We also host regular gaming nights in the office, informal socials, informal Slack catch-ups and team lunches to encourage the team to meet with others outside their direct areas of responsibility. 

The effort which is put into team socials is brilliant. The company is growing quickly, but as a remote-first organisation with operational silos it can be a challenge to meet people who work on other projects. The team socials create a level playing field for everyone to meet and bond.
